Payment and games, cooperation and competition
Before releasing this week’s release note, there is an important question to think about, what exactly is Bitcoin? What is the purpose of the wallet?
The answer is simple and straightforward: Bitcoin is money. everything that money can do, Bitcoin can do, and it can do better. A wallet is tool software for paying bitcoins.
Payment is the core purpose of our wallet.
We bring a payment demo this week. A game, and the software development kit behind it.
“Dou dizhu is one of the most popular card games played in China. Dou dizhu is played among three people with one pack of cards, including the two differentiated jokers. The game starts with players bidding for the “landlord” (地主) position. Those who lose the bid or do not bid enter the game as the “peasants” (农民) team competing against the landlord. The objective of the game is to be the first player to have no cards left.” — wikipedia
If the “landlord” wins, they can collect cash from the two “peasants.” Otherwise, the “landlord” must pay the two “peasants” in cash.
Using ChainBow’s WalletConnect function, the wallet can provide games with decentralized accounts, as well as game recharge and settlement functions.
We made the Preview version of the SDK.

After that, it is ready to provide game credits/pins using the Token scheme and game props based on the NFT scheme.
Now you can play the “Doudizhu” demo game. Call two friends, use Chainbow Wallet, visit https://game.mydapp.io and scan the QR code to enter the game.
The game is still relatively crude. We are just a blockchain wallet developer providing payment tools. A fun game requires a professional game developer to do it.
If you are a game developer or any other type of App developer want use bitcoin paymen, please contact us at support@chainbow.io.
It’s time to switch to bitcoin payment method.
This week, Evisource developer integrated the witness service https://witness.cercle.sg/ that we released a few weeks ago. Some developers said nothing but created similar services with almost the same API. We welcome cooperation and competition, but it would be better if you can inform us in advance, maybe we share ideas and source code.
The code for using the witness service is publicly available at:
https://github.com/baryon/boilerplate/blob/witness/tests/js/witness.scrypttest.js
You know, we don’t have our own wallet server. We use the open ElectrumX service. Users often complain that data synchronization is a bit slow. This week we started to contribute ElectrumX service nodes. Now, if you connect to any ElectrumX Peer, you will see the nodes we provide akiba.chainbow.io With the growth of wallet users, we may provide more Peers.
The Docker code for establishing the node is publicly available at:
https://github.com/chainbow/electrumx-peer
Welcome more teams to use ElectrumX and contribute your nodes.
This week, we were interviewed by blockchain media CoinGeek.
In the interview, we explained why we developed Chainbow Wallet and raised money through Ethereum to build BSV. Welcome to the reading.
We have gone from 0 to 1, and now we look forward to partners and competitors joining us, from 1 to N, to work together.
Download and Install ChainBow Wallet from https://chainbow.io/
Note: It is currently an alpha version. Please only recharge a small amount of Satoshi experience. And be sure to back up the mnemonic phrase and restore the account at any time.
